These terms apply to your use of Timers for Email, including its website, team workspaces, timer editor and hosted timer images. Read them together with the Privacy Policy and the purchase terms presented at checkout.

1. Using the service

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. You must have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you act for a business or team, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

In these terms, "we" and "our" mean the team operating Timers for Email; "you" includes the customer or organization on whose behalf the service is used. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@promofeatures.com. Our handling of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. Accounts and team permissions

Provide accurate account and billing details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for the people you authorize to use your team workspace. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Each team has its own timers, usage and billing. Team owners and administrators are responsible for invitations and permissions. A member with billing authority can make purchases or changes on the team's behalf. Your personal profile is separate from a team's name, logo and subscription.

You must not impersonate another person, share credentials to bypass access controls, or use another team's resources without permission.

3. Timer images and delivery

The service creates and hosts countdown images in GIF or WebP format for embedding in email campaigns. You configure the deadline, time zone and design, then use the image URL or embed code with your email platform. We do not send your campaigns or manage your recipient list.

Email clients may cache, preload, block or display only the first frame of an image. A recipient's displayed time can therefore differ from the current server-generated image. You are responsible for testing campaigns, choosing the right deadline and time zone, and keeping the offer described in your message accurate.

A timer is not a guarantee of delivery, a verified record of when an individual opened an email, or a substitute for enforcing an offer's actual closing time. Anyone with a public timer URL can load its image.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respect the rights of recipients and other users. In particular, do not:

  • Use timers in spam, phishing, fraud, impersonation or campaigns that you are not permitted to send.
  • Create false or misleading deadlines, or present an offer in a way that breaches applicable consumer or advertising rules.
  • Upload or distribute unlawful material, malware, or content that infringes privacy, copyright or other rights.
  • Attempt to access another account, bypass plan limits, manipulate usage or payment records, or disrupt the service.
  • Place sensitive personal information, secrets or recipient email addresses in public timer content or image URL parameters.

You are responsible for your campaign's privacy notice, lawful basis and any consent required for remote images or measurement. Accepting these terms does not provide consent on behalf of your recipients.

5. Your content and our service

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give us the permission needed to store, process, render and deliver that content to operate the service for you. This permission does not give us ownership of your campaign assets or a general right to use them in our advertising.

You must have the rights needed for uploaded images, fonts, logos and other materials. The software, templates and service branding remain the property of their respective owners. Your subscription permits use of the service and generated timer images within these terms; it does not transfer ownership of the software.

To report suspected infringement, send support@promofeatures.com the relevant timer URL, a description of the protected work, your contact details and an explanation of your authority to make the report. We may restrict disputed content while assessing a substantiated complaint.

6. Plans, payments and renewal

Plan features, included views, prices, currency and billing frequency are shown when you select a plan and at checkout. Taxes may apply. Subscriptions and usage allowances belong to the team for which they are purchased.

Paddle is the merchant of record for paid purchases. Its Buyer Terms apply to the payment transaction. Your receipt identifies the seller for that transaction, and Paddle handles payment details, invoices and applicable transaction taxes.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize the recurring charges disclosed at checkout. Keep a valid payment method and review the next billing date in your team's billing page. A failed payment may affect paid access.

We will give appropriate advance notice of changes to recurring prices and seek consent where required. You can cancel future renewal before a change takes effect.

7. View allowances and usage cycles

Usage is measured across a team's timers. A view is a qualifying request for a public timer image, rather than a unique person or a verified email open. Repeat requests, email-provider image fetches and automated requests may count. Caching may also prevent some opens from producing a new request. Private editor and dashboard previews are excluded from billable timer views.

View allowances use 30-day usage windows, including for annually billed plans. The dashboard shows the current allowance, recorded usage and reset date. A paid renewal or a change in subscription state can align the usage window with the updated subscription. Annual payment does not provide all of the year's view allowances at once, and unused views do not roll over.

If a Free team reaches its allowance, its timers are limited to a single frame until usage resets or an eligible paid allowance becomes available. The same quota restriction applies to a paid subscription scheduled to end when its current allowance has been exhausted. A single frame may still load; it is not a promise that the image URL will disappear.

8. Extra views and outstanding charges

An eligible active paid subscription that is not scheduled for cancellation may continue serving animated timers above its included allowance. These extra views create an additional usage charge. The team's billing page displays recorded usage and the amount available for payment; usage processing can be delayed, so the displayed amount may change as requests are processed.

The calculation is: monthly plan price multiplied by unpaid extra views, divided by the plan's included views. For an annual plan, the monthly equivalent is the annual price divided by 12. Amounts are rounded to the currency's smallest unit; applicable taxes or adjustments are reflected in the payment transaction. For example, a $6.99 monthly plan with 150,000 included views and 50,000 unpaid extra views produces a $2.33 extra-view charge before any applicable tax.

By using a paid plan with continued delivery above its allowance, you agree to pay the resulting usage charges. An outstanding amount may be added as a one-time item to a renewal invoice or paid separately through the Pay debt option. Payments already allocated to extra views in the same usage period are deducted when calculating the remaining debt.

A usage reset, plan change or cancellation does not itself settle an unpaid charge. You can ask us to review an incorrect usage calculation or payment; include the team and affected period in your request.

9. Upgrades and downgrades

An upgrade takes effect when the change is successfully applied and may charge a prorated difference immediately. Review the confirmation and payment details before authorizing it.

A downgrade takes effect immediately and reduces the available plan allowance. The current plan-change flow calculates a prorated adjustment for the next billing period, which can include an invoice credit for the price difference. An invoice credit is not a cash refund. The change does not erase views already used or debt already incurred. Check your current usage before choosing a lower allowance.

Resuming a subscription before a scheduled cancellation takes effect restores renewal on that subscription. Selecting another paid plan during that period also removes the scheduled cancellation and applies the selected plan change. Once a subscription has ended, a new purchase may be needed to restore paid access.

10. Cancelling a subscription

A scheduled cancellation stops the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the already paid billing period. During the remaining period, the paid allowance continues to apply, but continued delivery above that allowance is no longer available. When the cancellation becomes final, the team moves to Free with a fresh Free usage window.

The in-app cancellation and billing-portal flow may ask you to pay outstanding extra-view charges first. Those charges remain payable, but this does not remove applicable cancellation rights. If the in-app flow prevents cancellation, contact support@promofeatures.com or request cancellation through Paddle support or the link in your Paddle receipt.

Keep the cancellation confirmation and check the effective date. Deleting an embed from an email, stopping a timer or ceasing to use the account is not a cancellation request. Cancellation and a refund are different actions.

11. Refund requests

Cancelling or downgrading a plan does not automatically generate a prorated refund for unused time or views. Refund eligibility is governed by the terms of your purchase, Paddle's Refund Policy and applicable law. Any mandatory withdrawal, refund or other consumer rights remain available.

For an incorrect charge, a material service problem or a refund request, contact support@promofeatures.com or Paddle support with the transaction reference and the reason for your request. Do not send full card details. Approved payment refunds are processed through Paddle.

A full refund of the paid subscription can remove the associated paid entitlement and return the team to Free. A partial refund, such as a tax adjustment, does not by itself mean that the subscription has ended. We do not promise that every cancellation qualifies for a refund.

12. Availability and suspension

We aim to provide a reliable service, but availability can be affected by maintenance, network failures, email platforms and other systems outside our control. Unless separately agreed in writing, there is no guaranteed uptime or guarantee of a particular marketing result. Keep copies of your source content and test important campaigns.

We may restrict content or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address a security threat, unlawful use, a material breach or unpaid charges, subject to applicable law. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the issue and allow an opportunity to resolve it. Urgent action may be necessary to prevent harm.

Suspension or deletion may affect timer URLs already embedded in sent emails. Amounts properly incurred before an account ends remain due. Ending access does not remove rights or obligations that are intended to continue, including applicable payment, privacy and intellectual-property obligations.

13. Responsibility and legal rights

You are responsible for your campaign content, recipient permissions, deadline settings and decisions made using usage reports. We are responsible for our own obligations under the agreement and applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or suitability for every email client. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses, such as lost profits or campaign opportunities, to the extent those exclusions are lawful.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, limits mandatory consumer remedies, or waives rights concerning fraud or other conduct for which a limitation is prohibited. These terms do not require you to waive lawful rights to dispute a payment.

14. Changes and resolving disagreements

We may revise these terms as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated appropriately before they take effect where required. Changes to pricing or usage charges will apply prospectively with the required notice and consent; a revised document does not retroactively authorize new charges.

If you disagree with a future change, you can stop using the service and cancel future renewal. Contact us first about a concern so we can try to resolve it. Any mandatory protections and access to the courts or authorities available under applicable law remain intact.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it for the future.

15. Contact and related policies

For questions about the service, billing, cancellation or these terms, contact support@promofeatures.com. Include your team name and, for a payment issue, the relevant transaction reference.

Read our Privacy Policy for information about account data and timer-request logs. For payment-provider matters, see Paddle's Buyer Terms, Refund Policy and buyer support.
